Rio is known all over the world, no doubt about it. It is specially famous for it's beaches, tourist attractions and, of course, the beautiful women. However, the city isn't packed only with beauty and wonderfulness; there's a lot of misery and poverty built in it too. In adition, in a city where heaven and hell coexist, slums contrast with fancy hotels next to the beach.
Nevertheless, don't be so quick on your judgement: the city does have a lot to offer. Instead of going to tourist locations, like Cristo Redentor or Pão de Açúcar's cable car, both of wich are always bustling with people, you could watch a game at the Maracanã or go see a play at one of the countless halls the city has.
Pick you holiday: it can be carnival, christmas or new year's eve; there's always something nice to do. You could go to Sambódromo, see the city decorated with smiling Santa Claus's or even watch the world's most famous fireworks at Copacabana beach: you'll have a great time in any of them.
These are only some of the reasons why you should go and, in spite of some minor issues, there's no reason to skip it. If you've been there already, go again, and if you haven't, what are you waiting for?

rio de janeiro is one of the most famous citys in brazil. it has beautiful basch, big statues, famous malls and the most famous fashion of the country.
rio is the city who made the fashion of the contry, there has big events about fashion. but is a diferent fashion, becaus it is beach and sun fashion, so it can't be used in all the country.
another famous thing that rio has is the tourist places like "cristo redentor" which is a big statue of jesus, tha beach such as copocabana, ipanema, leblon, the mac museum which is one of the most famous modern architecture buidings.
rio also has big problems. the city is famous to be the most violent city of the country. the favelas had became bigger and bigger and the poor of the country too, so the violence goes up and the development of the city goes down, but you can still visit the city.
if you like sun and beachs you have to visit rio and stay at a hotel in front of the beachs, at night you can go to malls, nightclubs, attention with your things, because if you don't care you can be rob.

Caldas Novas is one city that is famous for having volcanic waters and it calls attetion in all Brazil.In addition the parties,food and hotels is other thing that call attetion.
In Caldas there are the best parties in the center of Brazil,the most famous are the carnaval and other tah starts on may.This parties are also crowded and with the best singers and bands of Brazil like Ivete Sangalo, Claudia leitte, Asa de aguia, etc...The hotels there are very good they interact people with food,shows and games, they are also crowded because of this things.There are people of all states of Brazil in this times, so many beautiful people.
Though the city have problems with the fights in this times.It is easy to find people arguing in the streets and it make the city full of police guards.Other problem is the difficult to find somewhere that is not crowded, if you want to go to a good restaurant tou have to wait for a long and this make the city problematic.
On other hand the city is very good, if you want to find beautiful people,good parties, is just go there.

Rio de Janeiro is a beautiful city where a lot of people go to visit turistic points and famous beaches.Rio de Janeiro is a kind of city that everybory likes because it is a big city,famous and very agitated.
When people go there, the first thing that they want to visit is 'Cristo Redentor' that is a famous turistic point for all the world, also it has other famous turistic points like 'Pão de Açucar', 'Corcovado' and beaches in Ipanema,Copacabana,Niterói.A lot of people go there to fly in hang-gilder too because they will have a wonderful view of the city.
At the night many young people like to go to the clubs,restaurants and parties, so in holidays and weekends the city is very busy.Normally this parting is what tourists most like.The city has a wonderful "carnaval", in my opinion the best carnaval in all the world and has a beautiful New Year too, many families go to Rio at this time for see the fireworks that are amazing.
Rio de Janeiro is a good city to go with parents,friends,boyfriend,anyway,it is a good city to go anda enjoy everething there.

Unforgettable place

Last year, I went to Salvador with my family and we loved this place. There are a lot of things to do for all types of person. Althought this city is famous for the 'Carnaval' that is, in my opnion, the best one. A place that is very interesting is the Pelourinho and the other parts of the historic center; When you go there, you can pay for a tourist guide and with him you will be able to learn about the lives of people at the time when Brazil was still a colony, for example. There are many churches too and they are amazing.
The city doesn't sleep, you can see people in the streets anytime. There are several bars and restaurants that are so nice. When I was there, I went to one that was in front of the beach. It was very good and to complete it, there was a man that was singing and playing MPB music. You can also go to nightclubs and parties. After the 'Carnaval' the famous singers permit people to enter their rehearsals, that are cheap. During the day, you can go to the beach, to the mall or to walk on the edge, for example.
In my opnion, the only problem of Salvador is the dirt and violence. You can't go anyplace alone,you must be very careful. If you don't go to the dark place or walk alone with things that draw the attention of other people, you won't have any problems.
On the other hand, people who like to go to shows, parties, make friends and also relax, I'm sure they will love this town and will want to go back every year.

There isn´t an official capital of the world, but some and myself, believe that it is New York. Certainly, there are many big cities competing to be this but they don´t have that New York feeling. The Big Apple is a complete city. You can visit most of the biggest buildings in the world, find the last and better technology and many fantastics shoppings, and of course, see a play in the most famous theatre in Broadway Avenue. In addition, you can get important landmarks, that are the statue of liberty and the Central Park.

Also, New York has most of biggest events like the Music Awards and the Sports All Star Game.

Like all big cities, New York has problems too. Problems with drugs, violence, traffic, immigration and other.

On the other hand, people who love shopping, luxury would enjoy coming to New York. During the day they could visit the 5th avenue stores and go to a walk on Central Park, and see the squirrels. On night go to see a Broadway play, and than dinner in one of the best restaurants the world can offer, go at a night club or just call it a night and relax in a beatiful five star hotel. That´s what New York is about and will offer for you.

My Best Friend

I first met Carolina Ros when we were both nine years old, which is propably the only reason she is still one of my best friends. If I had first met Carolina in the university, we wouldn't even have had the chance to get to know each other.Carolina studies at night, but I go to the university in the morning. We haven't been in the same classes or extracurricular activities. However, I senp hours on the phone with her during the week, when we have time. On the other hand, on weekends we go out other friends for fun. I can say that Carolina is very friendly and sociable. She has no problem in life. She is always playing, helping and chatting with her friends. There isn't anything that I don't like about her. So, we have many things and thoughts in commom. We usually go out to nightclubs, parties, movies, etc. When we are together to make a barbecue. We talk about many things about our lives, for example: the university, the future, friends and in the end we take a good nap. Although the first time when you know a person, you can't judge her by appearance. You always talk with people to learn more about their culture and life because that is what makes us enjoy each other's company so much.Carolina has shown me a different way of enjoying life and to be happy with simple things. She is my friend and "sister". I just thank her to be my friend.

Fernando de Noronha

Fernando de Noronha is the best place in South America. I went there in the summer because it is when my college is out and, besides that I think there are more people at this time of year and I love to be around people.
So, If you go there you have to take a few clothes because Fernando de Noronha is hot all year long. However, I suggest that you take shorts, skirts, T- shirts, a couple of pair of jeans and a couple of pairs of sneakers to walk around the island. As soon as, when you arrived there you go for a swim. The water is crystal clear and you can swim with the dolphins. It is the first thing you do.Then you have to visit the local villages and get to know the local people because the people who live in Fernando de Noronha are friendly.
On the other hand, you also need to take a tour around the island to discover its natural beauties and see more of the ocean and marine life around there.
Fernando de Noronha is a paradise mainly if you had a chanced to go there. It is the best place for people who would like to rest with their family enjoying the fantastic nature.

Recife

Recife is the fourth biggest city in Brasil and the capital of Pernambuco. The city is famous because of its history: the city has some of the best brazilian folk art. There are some great cutural events the like festivals.
Recife is the sister city of Olinda, which is on of the most well preserved colonial cities of Brazil, and the second city in the country recognized by Unesco as a cultural heritage of humanity.
Recife has big plantations of sugar-cane, which were introduced her in the begining of the pre-colonial period in Brazil, and it continued even when Holland had taken it and lost it to Portugal again. In addition it has the A.T. Kearny, one of the biggests tecnological park on Brazil. There are some multinational companies there.
However, Recife is not a perfect place. Like in any other big city in Brazil, there are shaunty towns and the beaches of the Venice of Brazil have sharks that have already attacked some people.
All in all, Recife is really a good place to stay on vacations to relax and forget about routine.

Brisbane

There is a city in Australia that is not as famous as Sydney, but it is a fabulous place to visit and live. Brisbane has great hotels, amazing restaurants, nightclubs and friendly people everywhere.

Brisbane is located on the northwest of Australia, it is the capital of Queensland. A popular place to go is the citytown. There is a street with lots of malls, shops and restaurants, with all the kind of meals, specially Asian food. In addition, if you cross the bridge, you will find museums, art galleries. theatres and an artificial beach.

The city is lively at night, with many lights shining and people drinking in the pubs, nightclubs or even walking on the most famous street of the city, called Queenstreet. Australians love to drink beer, usually drinking everyday after five o'clock in the afternoon.

Brisbane is such a wonderful city, where you can feel the good vibrations coming from the river and trees around the capital. Also, it is hard to rain there, so you can enjoy and have fun more often than you think.

New York City

New York City, witch is in the State of New York, in the United States, is a very well-known city all over the world and sometimes it's called "The capital of the World", because it's in the United States and it's a very important city for the globe.
It has many famous tourist points known by almost every person in the world. You can go to Manhattan Island and visit the beautiful big Statue of Liberty, one on the most famous statues in the world. The most famous avenue in the world is also there, the 5th Avenue, which is very large and very beautiful. It has many things to visit, including the Apple Store, also known as "The Cube". You can also go for a walk in Central Park, the most visited park in the USA, and breath some fresh air, and this is really good for New York City, as it's a very polluted city. You can also have a panoramic view of the city if you go to the top of the Empire State Building, one of the tallest buildings in the world. On New Year Eve, you can go to Times Square to watch the famous countdown with the ball that falls.
One of the most important things that happen in the city is the United Nations Organization Conference, where presidents from almost all countries in the world meet to discuss global problems.
Although the city is great, it has many problems like assaults, pollution and poverty. There are many neighborhoods where many poor people live, and if you go there you can be stolen fast. The pollution is mainly caused by the quantity of cars there, and because of that there's a lot of traffic jam too, and people get really stressed with this.
So, visit New York City and try to go to every tourist point there, which is difficult to do in a week, and you should stay at least a month there to know everything well. Although there's violence, there are many good things to do and to see, so you will probably like it very much and have lots of fun!

The City of Light

The world is big and full of different places: There are big cities like New York, in North America; there are places full of tradition like cities in Asia; there are also small villages where you can be in contact with nature. The world is surely an incredible place with uncountable beauties and wonders beyond imagination.
Choosing only one city among all is hard, but it is in the old continent where you will find some of the most breathtaking cities that exist. Paris, just as the rest of Europe, breathes history. In one of its cemeteries, the Père-Lachaise lies the bodies of famous people such as the polish composer Frédéric Chopin.
In the city of light, you can visit the most famous tower on earth; you can go to the museum where Da Vice’s Mona Lisa and other famous art works are: the Louvre. You can learn history by visiting the Bastille where many have been sentenced to death. You can also go to the cathedral of Notre Dame, and near the city there is the Versailles palace, where many kings and queens have lived.
Although Paris is fantastic it has its problems. Almost everything there is expensive and it is also said that the French don’t like foreign people.
Despite these almost insignificant problems, I think Paris is one of those cities everyone should visit once. You’ll learn a lot of philosophy, arts and history, buy great perfumes, see a wonderful place and of course: have fun.

Guarapari

There are many beautiful landscapes on the Brazilian coast, and Guarapari is ranked in the most visited, because it is the nearest from the center of the country. Consequently, every summer you can find mineiros spending the entire day bathing (with their clothes on!), even if the weather is not that good. However, the city known as Cidade Saúde attracts young and charming people.Guarapari has great aquatic clubs, aquarius and beautiful beaches.

Guarapari is located on Espírito Santo, about 50 km from the capital, Vitória. It is one of the few cities in the state with the infra-estructure for an international attraction be held. Also, there is a festival called Guarafest, that brings every year famous axé music artists.

Though the city is lively during the summer, it is quiet the rest of the year, and it's inhabitants are in the majority aged. Praia da Areia Preta, is believed to have medical sand and it is commun to see people buried in the dark sand there. At Enseada Azul the water is so crystalline that it is possible to dive 8 m deep and see a german cargo ship that was wrecked in 1942. Guarapari is certainly a spot to be visited whenever you go to Espírito Santo, whether you like partying or relaxing.

New York is a beautiful city. There are a lot of places to visit like the empire state and the statue of liberty. There’s also the Times Square, where Broadway is located. In the central park there’s a zoo, and you can go ice skating in the winter. In addition to that, there are lots of museums to visit, like the museum of modern art.
There are so many events in the city. You can watch plays, musicals and operas in the theaters, like the phantom of the opera, or mamma mia. In streets, you can see movies being shot. There’s also Brazilian day, which gathers lot of Brazilians to celebrate the day.
On the other hand, that beautiful city faces a lot of problems. New York has the most important stock market in the world, which makes it vulnerable to terrorists’ attacks, not to mention the pollution and the fact that there are too many people.
Despite all the problems, people should visit New York because it’s a very beautiful city and there are many cool things to do.
